THE collaboration of the Australian subsidiaries of STEINERT - HAZEMAG and allmineral - has seen the combined business know-how, product solutions and services come together under STEINERT Australia’s management. The alignment gives STEINERT Australia the ability to offer customers added value by delivering a wider and more efficient service network throughout Australia.

The arrangement came into effect on September 1 and Melbourne-based STEINERT Australia has taken over all aspects of the Australian operations of HAZEMAG and allmineral product support and services.
“By combining the strengths of these established German-originated and now global companies, we will offer customers added value by providing a larger service network throughout Australia and being able to pass on savings from reduced overheads,” said STEINERT Australia’s managing director Johan van Zyl.
“Individually these companies are highly respected mineral processing equipment suppliers, which together, can offer synergy of their technologies for process solutions. Dry processing utilising ore sorting and dry jigging is one example of a unique combination for mineral beneficiation that STEINERT Australia can now offer.
“We’re in an increasingly competitive global arena and in the current environment, it makes much more sense to join forces to provide the market with more accessible and aligned industry solutions,” said Johan van Zyl.
STEINERT Elektromagnetbau GmbH, manufacturer of magnetic separation equipment, was formed in 1889 in Cologne. STEINERT entered the Australian market in 2004 and quickly became recognisable as one of the leading magnet manufacturers and suppliers of sensor sorting equipment in the Asia-Pacific region.
Via continuous research and development of existing products plus introducing new innovative sensor-based sorting machines, STEINERT has been able to provide solutions into industry applications such as mining, aggregates, quarry and resource recovery sectors.
HAZEMAG operates internationally and is based in Germany. As a machine and plant manufacturer, HAZEMAG ranks among the pioneers in raw materials processing, providing effective industry solutions. Since its foundation in 1946, the company has produced a range of impact crusher types covering many applications. The range includes sizers, roll crushers, hammer mills, impact roll crushers, dryers, roller screens, apron feeders, chain conveyors, rotary gate valves and pendulum flaps.
allmineral Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH & Co was founded in Duisburg, Germany in March 1988. The company did not start from scratch as it acquired the entire know-how and staff from MAN Gutehoffnungshütte AG, which was well established in mining.
allmineral provides products for coal, ores, gravel and sand applications. Key products that contributed to the company’s progress were its alljig® gravel jigging machines for separating contaminants from gravel and sand.
Johan van Zyl said the joining of these well-known companies would deliver benefits to customers throughout Australia. “Getting to understand and work with customers’ diverse and regional requirements remains our common goal. By adding HAZEMAG and allmineral products, services and knowledge to the mix, STEINERT Australia can offer even more workable solutions.”
