COMPANY AND PRODUCT NEWS - FMC seeks licencees |
US company FMC Technologies is seeking Australian and Indian licencees to manufacture Link-Belt Conveyor Rollers and Idlers as well as Link-Belt 2000 Series Ball Bearing Idlers.
For any firm that takes up a manufacturing licence FMC offers engineering and design support from its US headquarters as well as sales support from USA and regional FMC managers in Asia and Europe. There will also be a FMC representative on hand for initial start-up and training at FMC's headquarters. Licencees will benefit from FMC's global sourcing network for components and steel, a competitive warranty on USA supplied components, having an exclusive territory, long-term contracts (10 years), a stock of key components in the USA and other FMC facilities worldwide, USA advertising and web site support, and an initial supply of product catalogues. FMC says licencees will require assembly machinery, including a tube cut off machine and customized hydraulic press. They will need to purchase key components, like heads, shafting and frame components from FMC but can procure tubing, idler frame base materials and brackets locally. |
