The Discover Mongolia 2007 International Mining Investors Forum in Ulaanbaatar from November 8-10 aims to promote foreign investment in Mongolia‘s minerals sector.

The forum, which marks its fifth anniversary this year, has played an instrumental role in enhancing the involvement of foreign minerals companies as well as forging and promoting educated and well-informed knowledge about the fundamental developmental effects of the minerals sector.

Discover Mongolia has triggered CVRD's decision to enter Mongolia, has featured BHP Billiton as a premier sponsor, and has cooperated with Anglogold, Monnis-Liebherr, Centerra and a host of juniors, including Ivanhoe Mines and QGX, with interest in Mongolia's minerals sector.

This year the forum plans to extend its profile and enrich the content of its key components - the 'Government Hour' series of meetings, the Mining Conference and the Investors Exchange Exhibition. BHP Billiton, Monnis-Liebherr, RedHill Energy Inc, Geosan and others have expressed interest in sponsoring the event.
