EVENTS - IntierraRMG and Mining Indaba join forces
The organizer of a series of investment mining forums, Mining Indaba, has formed a partnership with business intelligence supplier IntierraRMG to provide its Mining Insight seminars as part of the Singapore and South African conference agendas. Each seminar is designed as a commodities fundamentals masterclass. IntierraRMG’s editorial director Dr Chris Hinde will deliver the forums.
The company’s managing director Peter Rossdeutcsher says, “These seminars deliver a comprehensive but straightforward explanation of how the global mining industry works. They are hugely beneficial for people on the periphery of mining who want to develop more business opportunities in the sector. Combining the seminars with two of the most important mining events in the world is of real value to conference attendees.”
IntierraRMG’s Mining Insight seminars give delegates from associated sectors, including equipment manufacturers, legal firms and service organizations, an overview of the resources industry.
IntierraRMG delivers market and project reports for suppliers, material flow analysis and mineral economic policy from respected data, mapping, and analysis.
Mining Indaba managing director Jonathan Moore says the new partnership will see the introduction of a new dynamic to the educational program. “For the more than 18 years Mining Indaba has partnered with many influential leaders and government officials, making African Mining Indaba the world’s largest mining investment conference.”
Since its establishment Mining Indaba has channelled billions of dollars from foreign investments into the African mining chain, bringing international investors and financiers to put funds into African projects. The Asian Mining Indaba is the newest addition to the brand.
Asian Mining Indaba will be held in Singapore from October 29-31 and African Mining Indaba is scheduled for early 2013.
