SOUTH KOREA - Strong NMC molybdenum sales

NMC Resource Corporation recorded 66.4% of its sales figure for 2010 during the first quarter of 2011 at its molybdenum operation.

During the quarter, NMC produced 212,708 pounds of molybdenum with daily throughput of 860 tonnes at its NMC Moland Mine. The sales figure for the quarter totalled Can$3,744,031 while in all of 2010, the sales figure recorded was Can$5,636,910.

NMC’s president and CEO Yoo Sup Han says the company has been producing molybdenum from Moland since April 2010. NMC Resource is part of the Dong Won Resource Group, which has been involved in production of iron, gold, coal, oil and gas since 1962.
