COMPANY & PRODUCT NEWS: New GPS system seeking Asia Pacific users to test accuracy E-mail

LogicAll Solutions (LAS) has developed a new mapping engine, the LAS TerraRover Rambler, and has a low level application on offer, free, which they are seeking to test in the Asia Pacific region.

The company wants to test the effectiveness and accuracy of the software's application in the Asia Pacific region and is offering The ASIA Miner readers who own a GPS the opportunity to try out the software. LogicAll Solutions is keen to receive opinions and responses to the use of the technology and its effectiveness. The software can be downloaded from the LogicAll Solutions website http://GPS.LogicAllSolutions.Net/lilGPS.htm.

The demonstration consists of the LAS GPS Monitor, which reads the GPS, and the LAS TerraRover Rambler, which is a simple mapping program which shows the course on screen by virtue of a trail of icons that are used to mark where you have been.

LogicAll is porting the functionality of the North American version of their TerraRover GPS Systems software onto the new global platform. The company is keen to receive verification that the new platform does work correctly in the Asia Pacific region.

The company says that at the very least the user should be able to verify that their course is displayed correctly for the direction they are traveling in.

The company is developing a mining version of the TerraRover Rambler called the LAS TerraRover Trailblazer.
