INDONESIA - Ozmine 2008 presents Indonesian Mining: Redefined theme

The second OZMINE 2008 Exhibition and Conference being held in at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta on February 19-20 is shaping up to be another successful event with already of the exhibition booths for the event, taken.

OZMINE 2008 is organised by Austrade in Jakarta and aims to showcase Australia 's exceptional capabilities in supplying to the mining sector. Among those already booked to exhibit, include equipment suppliers, contractors and niche technology providers.

Ozmine 2008 is a two day exhibition and a one day conference will be held on the first day of the event on February 19.

The theme of this year's event is: 'Indonesian Mining: Redefined'. Among the issues to be discussed include issues facing the Indonesian mining industry today ' the new mining law, forestry, environment, regionalisation and future prospects. Convening panels will examine each of the papers presented and make recommendations for improvement. DVDs of the conference will be provided to the industry in Australia , and to Ministers, key regulators and policymakers in Indonesia .
