Southern Arc Minerals has secured a second diamond drill rig for exploration activities at its Selodong Porphyry copper-gold prospect in Indonesia.

The drill rig has started drilling at Kekalik, one of 15 defined drill target areas within the Selodong Intrusive Complex.

The drill rig, supplied by PT Antero Indodrill, is capable of coring 150-200m PQ, 400-450m HQ and 650-700m NQ.

Southern Arc management feels that based on encouraging drill intercepts from the first six holes, together with information from detailed geologic mapping and 3D geological/geomagnetic modelling that an increase in drilling production is warranted to accelerate advancement of the project.
