URANIUM - Encouraging results from Gifford Creek E-mail

Pegasus Metals has had encouraging results from ground spectrometer traverses at its Gifford Creek uranium project in Western Australia.

Grades up to 112 ppm eU3O8 were recorded by a self-calibrating Exploranium GR-135G hand-held spectrometer along three traverses across portions of the project area.

In addition to the spectrometer measurements, soil samples were also collected along each of the three traverses. The soils were taken at 100 metre intervals and at a nominal depth of 15cm.

Spectrometer measurements taken within the soil sample holes range between 0.8 to 4.6 times the values measured on the surface, the highest value measured being 143 ppm eU3O8.

Pegasus plans to complete a heritage survey across portions of the project area in preparation for drill testing as soon as possible. Drilling will test deeper levels of the palaeochannel where higher uranium grades would be expected below the anomalous eU3O8 surface values.

Pegasus has also carried out a reconnaissance rock chip and ground spectrometer sampling program over the Hooley Project and the Horse Well Project licence areas.
