Asia Energy has appointed Gerard Holden as the company"s new non-executive chairman.

Gerard Holden, 42, joins the company following a career with Barclays Capital.  He has worked for the Barclays Group for more than 20 years with his most recent role being managing director and global head of mining and metals.

New director at Tiberon

David A. Garofalo has been appointed to the Tiberon Minerals board of directors.

David Garofalo is a multi-listed public company chief financial officer with more than 16 years in the natural resource sector, including specific experience in international capital markets, commercial bank financing, corporate development and financial accounting.

David Garofalo is currently the vice president, finance and chief financial officer of Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited and Contact Diamond Corp (an affiliate of Agnico-Eagle) and has been with both companies since 1998.

David Garofalo joins an experienced board that includes Clifford Davis, chairman of New Gold, director of Rio Narcea Gold Mines and former president and CEO of Gabriel Resources; Ian Gowrie-Smith, chairman of Triple Plate Junction, Rift Oil and Bio Neutral; Lars-Eric Johansson, retired executive vice president and chief financial officer of Kinross Gold Corporation; Loren Komperdo, president and CEO of Keeper  Resources; Richard Lister, retired president and CEO of Zemex Corporation; and Mario Caron, president and CEO of Tiberon Minerals Ltd.

Tiberon Minerals Ltd is poised to become the world's largest primary tungsten producer and a major producer of acid-grade fluorspar, as well as bismuth, copper and gold through development of its Nui Phao property in Vietnam.

Nui Phao contains over 55 million tonnes of proven and probable reserves (25.1 million tonnes proven, 30.6 million tonnes probable) for an estimated mine life in excess of 16 years, making it one of the largest tungsten-fluorspar deposits located outside China.
