Former leader of Britain "s Conservative Party Michael Howard has been appointed deputy chairman and a director of Entrée Gold.

Michael Howard has held many important government posts, including home secretary, secretary of state for employment and secretary of state for the environment.

In addition, he is a distinguished lawyer and has a long-standing interest in Mongolia .

TVIRD appoints new vice presidents

TVI Pacific's Philippines affiliate, TVI Resource Development (TVIRD), has appointed two new vice presidents.

Felicia I Yeban will design and implement TVIRD's social commitment initiatives and its community relations and development programs. Felicia, a former professor of human rights education with international expertise and reputation, has been promoted to vice president for social commitments. Until recently, she was full human rights education professor at the Philippine Normal University, as well as a consultant to various human rights groups.

Yulo E Perez returns to TVIRD as vice president for Philippine operations and will direct all mining operations in the Philippines . He previously served as general manager at the Canatuan mine site from 2004 to 2006 and was instrumental in the development of the mine.
