NICKEL – Significant high grade intersections at Blair E-mail

Australian Mines has resumed resource definition drilling at its Blair Deeps prospect in Western Australia with the initial target being a high grade shoot.

The drilling is being undertaken below current workings at the Blair Nickel Mine, 32km from Kalgoorlie.

The first hole in this program, has intersected the E03C shoot 30 metres below the current deepest workings and returned a downhole intersection of 11.85 metres @ 4.06% nickel.

The intersection consists of strong matrix sulphides and massive sulphides and is typical of mineralization at the western end of the shoot where disseminated and massive sulphides balloon out against an in-thrust tongue of footwall basalt. True width is expected to be 5 to 5.5 metres.

In addition this hole intersected the L03C shoot returning a downhole intersection of 5.4 metres @ 3.32% nickel.

Drilling to extend the E03 shoot is continuing. The Blair Deeps resource drilling program will further target extensions to the high grade shoots.
