INDONESIA - Promising Blongas II intersections E-mail

Southern Arc Minerals has received promising drill results from its Blongas II porphry copper and gold deposit in Indonesia.

A second drillhole has returned mineralized intersections of 486.15 metres at 0.22% copper and 0.26 grams/tonne gold from 2 metres. This included 72.1 metres at 0.38% copper and 0.3 grams/tonne gold from 97.7 metres, and 42.5 metres at 0.39% copper and 0.57 grams/tonne gold from 200.4 metres.

Blongas II is the second of 15 porphyry copper-gold targets within the Selodong Intrusive Complex to be drill tested. The Selodong Intrusive Complex occupies an area exceeding 20sqkm within the western part of Southern Arc's Lombok property.

Results from two drillholes, earlier Newmont drillholes, and detailed geological mapping indicates that a north to north-west trending structural corridor through Blongas I and II is host to a zone of porphyry copper-gold mineralization about 280 metres wide and 1000 metres in length.
