China is looking for close international cooperation in the construction and management of the country"s nuclear power stations in order to fill the gap between the current technical level in China and internationally. This offers enormous business opportunities for foreign nuclear power companies in China.

A Uranium Forum will be part of the China Mining 2007 conference from November 13 to 15.

Government leaders, scholars, engineers and industry representatives will be invited to carry out in-depth discussions on China's uranium policies and regulations, the development trends of uranium exploration and mining technology, and outstanding experience in the management of uranium mining.

Uranium booths will also be set up to allow companies to show their projects and new technologies, providing participants with an opportunity to meet potential clients, suppliers and other partners.

China Mining is Asia's premier mining conference and exhibition and is hosted by China's Ministry of Land & Resources. It will be held at the Beijing International Convention Center.

China Mining provides an important channel for communication and exchanging information among global mining enterprises, while building relationships and creating valuable networking opportunities.
