Rusina Mining has appointed Mark Hanlon as chief financial officer and company secretary.
Mark has a broad background of senior executive experience across a variety of companies and industries. He has been company secretary of two public companies, Century Drilling Limited and International Contract Manufacturing Ltd, and has a background in commercial and merchant banking. Climax appoints Filipino in Didipio GM role Yulo Perez has been appointed Didipio general manager to head Climax Mining's Dinkidi resource development in the Philippines. Yulo Perez is a Filipino mining engineer with extensive Philippines and international experience. Before his appointment he was general manager at the TVI Pacific Inc -Canatuan gold and base-metal operations in southern Mindanao. One of Yulo Perez's initial tasks will be to start to build the operations team consisting mainly of Filipinos including accelerating existing training programs to maximize employment opportunities for Didipio Valley residents. The country has a longstanding history of underground and open pit mining comparable with the Dinkidi development. As a result, Climax has been able to benefit from recruiting Yulo Perez and our other current Filipino managers from within the pool of highly qualified and skilled Filipinos with managerial and engineering expertise. |
