PHILIPPINES - Balabag drilling halfway and more licences in Tibet, Golden Triangle |

TVI Pacific has reported it is halfway through its drilling program at its Balabag Project in the Philippines. The second phase drilling program at Balabag consists of a 44 hole program with a combined aggregate of 6870 metres.
The company is expecting additional drilling results in the upcoming weeks and will is expected to announce these shortly for both Balabag and Canatuan. Drilling is currently being undertaken near TVI's Canatuan deposit to define further mineralization. In the last four months, TVI has reported that throughput through its Canatuan Mine mill has risen to nearly 2000 dry metric tonnes per day while daily production is now 190 ounces of gold equivalent. TVI has filed 6 new exploration licence applications covering 713 sqkms in the Tibet autonomous region. This brings the company's total exploration licence applications in the Tibet autonomous region to a total of 1190 sqkms. It also currently has 16 exploration licence applications filed in the Golden Triangle region covering 1205 sqkms. In China there is 2394sqkm of land under application. |
