Manitowoc Crane Group (MCG) has promoted Raman Joshi from global product manager for Manitowoc crawler cranes to director of marketing in the Asia-Pacific region.

In this new position Raman Joshi will assemble an Asia-based team of regional product managers, key country marketing managers and regional marketing communications specialists.

Before joining MCG, Joshi most recently served as US sales and marketing manager for the NSK Corporation, a US subsidiary of Japanese company NSK Ltd, one of the world's largest bearing manufacturers. Before that he spent four years working in Osaka, Japan as a project manager for a machine tool manufacturing company.

Joshi holds Bachelor's of Science and Masters degrees in mechanical engineering. He will be based in Singapore and is relocating there with his family.
