TIN - First YTC drilling results from Doradilla Project E-mail

The first drilling results from YTC"s Doradilla project in New South Wales have confirmed high grade tin mineralization associated with copper, zinc and indium.

Results from the first 6 of 29 aircore drill holes on the 3KEL deposit have confirmed strong, near surface tin, copper and zinc mineralization. The assays have also established for the first time the strong tenor of indium mineralization at 3KEL.

The 3KEL deposit is at the north-western end of a 16km long mineralized horizon known at the DMK line.

The drilling programme has been designed to validate high grade tin results along 2km of strike at 3KEL to assist in the conversion of historical estimates to JORC compliant resources; to assess the high-grade supergene tin zone for copper, zinc, silver and indium mineralization; to collect sufficient drilling samples to allow for a re-assessment of the leaching characteristics of the high grade 3KEL mineralization; and to test for strike extensions of known 3KEL mineralization.

YTC CEO Rimas Kairaitis says: "These initial results are very exciting as they not only validate the high grade oxide tin grades reported from the 1980s, they also point to the potential for a very significant tin-indium and copper-zinc resource along the 16km long DMK line."
