Finders Resources announces that Chris Farmer has resigned as a director and has stepped down from all executive and board roles within the Finders Group.

Gulf Manganese has completed its search for a chairman following the unexpected death of Graham Anderson in July 2015. Craig Munro is the chairman while Andrew Wilson has been appointed as a non-executive director.

Robert Nogaj has been named chief operating officer of Martin Engineering. He will be responsible for all facets of Martin’s business, including R&D, manufacturing, sales, marketing and finance.

Aspire Mining has appointed Gan-Ochir Zunduisuren as a non-executive director. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the resource sector of Mongolia and Canada.

James Tenghui Zhang has been appointed as non-executive director to the Board of Lincoln Minerals. He is also the director of Shanghai Jihai Investment Ltd Co.

Martiono Hadianto has resigned as president director of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara and has entered retirement. Rachmat Makkasau, who served as general manager of social responsibilities and government relations, assumed the top post.

BMT Group has appointed Sir John Hood as chairman following the retirement of Dr Neil Cross. Sir John is a non-executive director of BG Group and WPP, chairman of Matakina Ltd, and Study Group Ltd; president and CEO of the Robertson Foundation; and chair of the Rhodes Trust and Teach For All.

Uranium developer Toro Energy has appointed Tim Netscher as a non-executive director and chairman. He replaces Fiona Harris who retired for personal reasons. Tim Netscher has substantial experience in the mineral resources sector.

Turquoise Hill Resources has appointed Brendan Lane as vice president, operations and development. He brings 25 years of industry experience including metallurgical, mine engineering and commercial roles.

KBL Mining has appointed Greg Starr as managing director, replacing Brian Wesson who has resigned. Greg Starr is ex-managing director of Crater Gold Mining and transitioned that company from explorer to producer.

Kinder Australia has appointed Ian Kelleher as sales engineer to focus on customer accounts in Queensland and the Northern Territory.
