Tania Constable has been appointed as the Minerals Council of Australia’s (MCA) next Chief Executive Officer.

Ms Constable has extensive experience in the resources sector, having most recently worked as the Chief Executive of the Co-operative Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Technologies (CO2CRC).
ARTEMIS RESOURCES
Wayne Bramwell has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Executive Officer, effective 19 June 2018, and is tasked with bringing Artemis’s Radio Hill Operations back in to production.
Mr Bramwell is an experienced metallurgist and mining executive with over 26 years of international and Australian project development expertise across the base metals, precious metals and bulk commodity sectors.
RIO TINTO
Rio Tinto has recorded a number of moves, with the appointment of Jakob Stausholm who will succeed Chris Lynch as Rio Tinto’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr Stausholm, who recently stepped down as Group Chief Financial Officer of A.P. Moller – Maersk, will join Rio Tinto as an executive director on 3 September 2018 and take over as Chief Financial Officer on the same day.
Chris Lynch will stand down from the Rio Tinto board on 3 September 2018 and, as previously announced, will retire from Rio Tinto on 30 September 2018, following a smooth transition to Jakob.
AUSDRILL
Mark Norwell has been appointed as Ausdrill’s next Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer to replace Ron Sayers.
Mr Norwell was, until recently, the Executive General Manager – strategy and growth at Thiess, and a member of Thiess’ executive leadership team.
Over a 20-year career in the mining services sector, he has held senior roles with Leighton Contractors, HWE Mining and Macmahon Holdings.
LATITUDE
Latitude is pleased to advise that Kim Eckhof will be appointed as a Non-Executive Director following the receipt of shareholder approval for the acquisition.
Ms Eckhof is currently working with Medea Natural Resources in London, a corporate advisory firm focussed on strategic, equity and debt advisory to natural resource companies.
KIN MINING
Andrew Munckton was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Mr Munckton is an experienced geologist who has held senior management roles of both ASX-listed companies and gold operations in a career spanning more than 30 years.
Most recently, Mr Munckton was Managing Director of a junior gold and base metals exploration and development company, Syndicated Metals Limited.
EXXON MOBIL
Michael J. Dolan, senior Vice President has announced his intention to retire, effective 1 August 2018.
Dolan was elected to his current position as senior vice president and a member of the corporation’s Management Committee in 2008.
Dolan held a variety of technical and managerial positions in the company’s global petroleum refining and petrochemical businesses throughout his career.

AngloGold Ashanti announced a number of changes to its Board of Directors.
Sindiswa Zilwa, has resigned as a non-executive director for personal reason.
Additionally, Srinivasan Venkatakrishnan, who after 18 years with the Company, with the last five years as Chief Executive Officer, has accepted an offer to become CEO of Vedanta Resources Plc.
A global search for the new CEO is underway.
TETHYAN RESOURCES
Tethyan Resources John Carlile to its board of directors, with two other board members resigning: Peter Mullens and Gokhan Kantarcigil.
Mr Carlile is a geologist with over 35 years’ experience in the resource industry, having held senior executive and director positions with major and junior miners.

Signature Resources has appointed Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos to its advisory board.
Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos, is a professor of metamorphic petrology and thermodynamics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, a mineral exploration consultant to Hellenic Mines SA and a geopark development consultant to City and Region Planning PC.
METS IGNITED
METS Ignited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Lyle Bruce as the new Chair of the METS Ignited Board.
Mr Bruce’s appointment follows the decision by Elizabeth Lewis-Gray to move to the position of Deputy Chair of the Board.

Alex Klenman, the current Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Klenman replaces the current Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Peter Berdusco, who will remain with the Company as president until 1 June 2018, at which time Mr. Klenman will also assume the role of president. Effective immediately, the Company has also announced the appointment of J. Ian Stalker to the board of directors. Mr. Stalker has more than 40 years of development and operational mining experience in countries around the world.
