Screening and crushing industry leader McCloskey International has welcomed Shanghai-based Dealer Shanghai Shibang Machinery (SBM) to its global network of distributors. Serving China, Shanghai Shibang is eager to increase McCloskey International’s presence, having recently acquired their first machine, an S190 Triple Deck Screener.

McCloskey SBM factoryFounded in 1987, SBM is a leading crushing equipment manufacturer in China, with nearly 1300 employees in 16 countries, working in close cooperation with their customers to achieve sustainable process and profit improvements in minerals processing.

“McCloskey has a very good reputation in the industry,” said SBM’s vice general manager Libo Fang. “The products are very competitive both in quality and price, and can be a complementary product for SBM.

“Our ambition is to drive the industry development by delivering reliable and sustainable products and services in mining, aggregates and grinding industries. Our customers’ needs derive from certain global trends – urbanisation and the growing demand for minerals – these are what drive us.”

In the past 30 years, SBM has been devoted to producing mining equipment, aggregates equipment and industrial grinding mills. With the advantages of high efficiency and low maintenance cost, their products are widely used in the mining and construction industry.

The formal announcement of the new distributor relationship took place on SBM’s stand at Bauma China in Shanghai on November 23.

“Asia is a growing market for McCloskey’s crushing and screening equipment, and a partnership with SBM will allow us to continue our rapid growth in the region,” said McCloskey International president and CEO Paschal McCloskey. “Their commitment to customers lines up with ours, and we look forward to working with them to round out their product offerings to the market.”

McCloskey International designs and manufactures mobile crushers, screeners, stackers and washing systems. McCloskey equipment is used by topsoil producers, landscape contractors, composting facilities, waste management and recycling operations, aggregate producers and mining and quarry operators worldwide to help achieve profitable volumes.
