Australian refuelling specialist Banlaw has appointed Gordon Crane as its new sales and marketing manager. Gordon Crane was previously a sales and marketing manager at Bluescope Steel where he helped generate record turnover for its roofing subsidiary business.

Banlaw CEO Bill Clifton says this new role is designed to help Banlaw to continue to take advantage of the global demand for systems that assist with reducing fuel loss and fuel contamination as well safer refuelling.

Gordon Crane says he is joining the NSW-based company as it continues to grow both in Australia and in overseas markets. Last year Banlaw opened its first US office as well as a new office in Western Australia. He says he is looking forward to continuing to work in the manufacturing sector.

Gordon Crane spent the first eight years of his career working in the media as an account executive and then general manager for several television stations.

Banlaw designs and manufactures its range of fluid transfer and hydrocarbon management systems and products. It is 40%-owned by Singapore-based company Orianna.
