Mining equipment support service Atlas Copco Fluidcon will now be known as PT Atlas Copco Nusantara, after combining operations with its Indonesian service provider.
Last year, the company’s mining and rock excavation division merged with PT Fluidcon Jaya and established headquarters in Jakarta, offering capital equipment field support and auxiliary product installation. It employs 350 people across the Jakarta office and nine regional hubs, with customer support provided from remote and in-mine personnel at 11 additional locations.
Within Indonesia, the company is contracted to deliver fuel management systems, auto lubrication, flow meters, hydraulic accessories, pumping equipment and fire suppression systems.
These services added to the already established construction and mining business arm of the company, which develops, manufactures and markets rock drilling tools, underground rock drilling rigs, loading equipment and construction tools.
The company’s general manager Robin Stephens says, “What distinguishes us as the leading company in the mining, logging, oil and gas industries is our ability to deliver complete solutions, on time, at reasonable costs to all of our customers.”
Atlas Copco Nusantara will now be the exclusive distributor and parts and service provider in Indonesia for an array of allied products.
“Although our name has changed, our vision will not. We will serve our customers with even more enthusiasm and maintain our ‘first in mind and first in choice’ mentality to provide the best products and support possible,” says Robin Stephens.
