China Shouguan Mining Corp plans to expand gold mining operations in China. Plans include further developing existing gold mines, acquiring new underperforming ones and potential exploration operations in China’s three major mineral rich zones. 
Asia Now Resources has received encouraging results from the 2013 drilling program at the Beiya property on its Matouwan project. There were 15 holes drilled on the Yangjiayuan Block during the program for 4777.82 metres with seven holes returning significant intersections and the remaining eight returning no significant mineralization.
GB Clean Energy Ltd (GBCE) has upgraded 2000 tonnes of low-rank 3600 kcal gar coal for China Power’s Baiyinhua Mine, which is 200km from GBCE’s commercial plant in Holingol, Inner Mongolia. The upgrade resulted in production of 1300 tonnes of high-rank 5000 kcal gar coal.
Galaxy Resources’ Jiangsu lithium carbonate plant has successfully completed a planned maintenance shutdown period. As part of the works, the ‘front end’ of the plant has been modified to enable lithium carbonate production from higher grade spodumene feedstock supply from alternative sources, including Talison Lithium.
