COSOL, a global service provider, specializing in optimizing business processes and technology systems for the mining and minerals processing sector, has announced a newly-formed partnership in Mongolia with iERP Consulting.
Since establishing a permanent presence in Mongolia earlier this year, COSOL Mongolia LLC is able to offer clients an even more comprehensive service through the strategic partnership with Ulaanbaatar-based consultancy firm, iERP Consulting.
iERP Consulting is a vendor independent, technology and systems consultancy that has carved out a significant local presence in Mongolia since its inception in 2010.
By combining COSOL’s extensive knowledge of the mining and minerals processing sector with iERP’s local knowledge, the result is a team of consultants able to successfully bridge any cultural or language barriers that may exist and provide the emerging Mongolian mining sector with globally recognized, best practice solutions.
“It is an exciting time for Mongolia and this new partnership with iERP Consulting will allow us to provide distinctive services to the Mongolian market,” says COSOL Mongolia LLC country manager Trent Jackson. “iERP brings with it highly qualified, Mongolian speaking technical and application consultants who successfully deliver complimentary services to those provided by COSOL. Together, COSOL and iERP Consulting will be able to deliver world-class solutions to both Western-owned companies with operations in Mongolia and Mongolian owned and operated mining organizations.”
iERP Consulting executive director Badraa Tserennadmid says, “We are delighted to engage with COSOL, an experienced provider in the global mining sector. We believe that our synergies with COSOL can offer optimized business processes to our clients and bring new levels of quality to the Mongolian market. We look forward to the upcoming collaborations.”
“This partnership with iERP will deliver world-class services and solutions to private and government operated mines, existing and emerging greenfield mining and processing plants, mining contractors, service providers and infrastructure projects. The partnership is ideally suited to providing strategy, definition, execution and subsequent support for all their systems’ needs,” says COSOL chairman and executive director Brad Skeggs.
Since forming in April 2000, COSOL has successfully worked in 18 countries with more than 135 clients including Xstrata, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Vale and Anglo-American. From greenfield to established sites and from emerging mine operators to tier 1 global organizations, COSOL consultants combine their extensive mining industry knowledge with expertise on a range of operational and ERP systems, including SAP, Ellipse (Ventyx) and IFS, to deliver business relevant services and solutions.
