Sandvik Mining’s Australia-wide network of Customer Service Centres (CSCs) has been authorized to repair Kessler powertrain products used as components on Sandvik equipment.

The German-built Kessler range of powertrain products are used in a wide range of Sandvik Mining’s equipment such as loaders and rubber tyre vehicles, says Sandvik Mining’s technical services manager Nathan Cunningham.

“Sandvik has more than 16 CSC sites throughout Australia with the ability to carry out a wide variety of services, including machine rebuilds, component maintenance and repairs, fabrication, fire suppression installations and shot-blasting and painting. Through our CSCs, we also offer field service, service exchange programs – with all facilities operating to a zero harm safety environment.

“Now, as a result of the service, repair and safety capabilities available through our CSCs, we are authorized to carry out repairs on Kessler components, as well as all other parts and components used in Sandvik Mining equipment,” Nathan Cunningham says. “We now have the capability to carry out all types of repairs to Kessler powertrain products, to complete OEM specifications, backed by our warranty, using our own factory trained staff, and with the end results to manufacturers’ standards.”

“This will provide customers with a faster turnaround time, at a cost-effective price, in our fully equipped workshops – with customers able to take advantage of Sandvik’s extensive after-sales support network to ensure a complete and professional level of service,” he says.
