Mines idled amid flooding in China

A reported 116 non-coal mines in the northeastern province of Liaoning, China, have been ordered to suspend operations and thousands have been evacuated from the area amid flooding that began over last weekend and was expected to continue this week.

K2fly lands Roy Hill contract

Roy Hill has contracted K2fly’s Ground Disturbance Solution software for its integrated iron ore mining, rail and port operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. K2fly said the five-year contract has a total value of A$2 million and an annual recurring revenue of $300,000.
