INX InControl – Rapid and easy reporting via the InControl Mobile app. |
The advanced workflows enable workers to notify their employer of a coronavirus (COVID-19) positive test result with automatic notifications so contingency plans can be activated immediately. The COVID-19 enhancements include a return to work questionnaire and a site access checklist based on the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO).
These tools to track, monitor and manage suspected and confirmed cases is critical to limit the spread of the virus and mitigate productivity loss.
When an employee tests positive for COVID-19, safety leads and supervisors receive immediate updates. The notification can be raised by an employee or contractor directly using the InControl mobile app with a specific COVID-19 questionnaire including travel history and symptoms. The INX InControl workplace health and safety management solution is widely used in mining, oil and gas, engineering and construction industries to manage risk, events and incident reporting.
Mandatory quarantine schedules are included in INX InFlight, the market-leading rostering, travel and accommodation management software for fly-in fly-out (FIFO) workforces, for businesses with employees and contractors at site. Quarantine schedules can be applied across rosters and accommodation schedules to automatically create a new set of rosters and travel bookings. The event notification can also be routed to travel coordinators to assist with flight booking and accommodation amendments.
The ease-of-use and immediate nature of the COVID-19 reporting enables organisations to provide immediate assistance to employees in need and activate business continuity plans. Furthermore, organisations can also trigger immediate measures to mitigate spread and contagion on site.
INX Software Chief Executive Officer Basil Lenzo said, “In enacting our own business Continuity measures recently, we recognised that our clients who often operate in people-intensive environments are likely to have a much higher level need to manage mobilisation and rostering requirements as part of their business continuity plans. As the global workforce adjusts to the effects of COVID-19, we are also conscious we should be proactively looking forward and preparing for the day things are back to normal.”
