Maas Group business unit Jacon Equipment has inked a distribution deal with Voltas, making the latter its only sales, service and support distributor for its product lines in India.

Calling the region a vital international market, company CEO Wes Maas said distributing through Voltas’ mining and construction equipment divisions will be a positive opportunity due to the size of the partner’s footprint.

“The synergies between our two companies in terms of product support and parts signals the strong alignment we both have with market demands,” he said.

“This agreement also demonstrates the confidence that Voltas Limited has in Jacon’s products and support structure." 

Voltas said that Jacon products in India will be backed by its own heavy repair shops and satellite warehouses located at mine sites nationwide, and it will offer the same skilled  technicians for service 24/7.

Voltas’s M&CE division is India’s largest independent mining service provider among its corporate sectors.
