Ten people were killed and seven injured on 23 July after the collapse of a section of a mountain at a coal mine in the northwestern province of Gansu, China, reported news agency AFP

The accident took place around 11:15 a.m. local time while workers of Shanxi Coking Coal Minbao were driving around the mine site. The mountainside collapse “buried these employees as well as [their] vehicles,” said state media.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
