Ok Tedi Mining Ltd. said that majority shareholder Kumul Minerals has made changes to its nominated directors of the company.
The new directors are Dr. Ila Temu, Sarimu Kanu and Jeffrey Innes. Temu was recently appointed as chair of Kumul Minerals, while Kanu is the managing director of the company. Innes is a director of Kumul Minerals and previously held an executive management position with Ok Tedi.
In its capacity as majority shareholder, Papua New Guinea-based Kumul Minerals has appointed Innes to serve as chair of Ok Tedi, effective immediately.
Ok Tedi is a 100% nationally owned copper miner located in the Western Province of PNG. Kumul Minerals Holding Ltd. owns 67% share interests.
