Axiom Mining has successfully completed an orientation drilling program on the Isabel Nickel Project. The program confirmed the occurrence of high grade mineralization in the limonite and saprolite zones and has prompted Axiom to implement the next phase of drilling which will determine a measured and indicated resource.

Of 135 holes drilled, 130 intersected nickel mineralization above 0.6% nickel. Best results are 20.7 metres from surface @ 1.74% nickel, including 10.9 metres from 8.3 metres @ 2.47%; 18.25 metres from 4.8 metres @ 1.64%, including 10.8 metres from 9.3 metres @ 2.08%; 19.0 metres from 2.0 metres @ 1.55%, including 10.9 metres from 9.2 metres @ 1.99%; 16.5 metres from surface @ 1.49%, including 9.0 metres from 6.5 metres @ 1.96%; and 16.0 metres from 0.5 metres @ 1.66%, including 9.5 metres from 5.1 metres @ 2.02%.

Axiom’s CEO Ryan Mount says, “Our team has delivered a drilling program that has consistently yielded outstanding results with high grade nickel intercepts at the three prospect areas of Havihua, Kolosori and Suma ridges.”

Drill intersections above 1.2% nickel cut-off include 455.2 metres @ 1.75% nickel from 91 holes, including 167.0 metres @ 1.48% nickel from 72 holes in the limonite zone and 288.2 metres @ 1.91% from 74 holes in the saprolite zone. There was 2312.3 metres of drill core with 2390 drill core samples collected.

Axiom recently commenced the next phase of resource definition drilling to determine a measured and indicated resource that can support the first three to four years of a direct shipping ore (DSO) operation.
