SciDev Ltd has received a trial purchase order with Olympic Dam, Australia’s largest copper operation, owned by BHP Group Limited. Olympic Dam is a globally significant mine located in central South-Australia and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.

The trial will focus on the utilisation of SciDev’s chemistries in the Hydromet and Concentrator sections of the Olympic Dam Processing Plant. SciDev’s South Australian based staff will be on site to deliver the associated professional services. The trial is anticipated to last for approximately six months and is scheduled to commence in the December quarter of CY2020.
