A year after entering the metals & mining sector with the purchase of Metals Economics Group, SNL has announced the acquisition of IntierraRMG, another leading company in the space with a similar focus on delivering superior information and actionable intelligence to key industry participants. The new combination – SNL Metals & Mining – reaffirms SNL’s commitment to providing the global mining industry with a ‘one-stop’ source for accurate and complete data to support better decision-making.
“Following the many enhancements SNL has made to its mining information platform in the past year, the addition of IntierraRMG marks another major step forward in the breadth, depth and quality of information we can deliver to clients,” says SNL Metals & Mining director Jason Goulden. “We plan to integrate our two databases and support IntierraRMG’s other business lines that are new to SNL, including strategic consulting, region-specific conferences and educational seminars.”
