WITH the mining industry placing great emphasis on optimization and improving productivity to help combat the effects of the global downturn, a new conference organized by Mining Media International (MMI) aims to outline mineral and coal processing technologies available to facilitate this process.
The MMI RTC Mineral and Coal Processing Technologies Conference will be held on November 2 and 3, Pullman Hotel, Thamrin CBD, Jakarta, Indonesia, and is a not to be missed event for companies involved in the processing of minerals and coal in South East Asia as well as the companies that supply these industries.
The conference is the latest in MMI’s Regional Technical Conference (RTC) series and is presented by MMI, the Djakarta Mining Club and Coal Club Indonesia. A networking meeting of the Djakarta Mining Club will be held on November 2, in conjunction with the conference.
The conference aims to raise issues and to identify strategies and methods that will result in a proactive approach by all stakeholders in the development of a successful mineral processing industry in Indonesia and South East Asia.
It is, therefore, imperative that companies with applicable technologies as well as those with industry experience and knowledge attend and participate in this conference. For businesses interested in gaining access to this developing industry, this is a perfect opportunity.
The conference will have two primary streams - Metals and Mineral Processing, and Coal Processing Technologies. As well as an Indonesian overview, both streams will include presentations and discussions on innovations and development, long and short term planning strategies, investment and financing, equipment availability and reliability, government regulations, and training/service opportunities.
